Whats happening?
Xero have announced that they are retiring the Xero-owned built-in HubSpot CRM integration on the 13th March 2026.
Affected customers are being emailed to the billing contact on the Xero account, from January 2026.
Here's what the announcement says
"The integration will be automatically disconnected [...] from 13 March 2026.
Once disconnected, Xero contacts and invoices (if applicable) will no longer sync to HubSpot. Any monthly HubSpot subscription will also be cancelled. This applies whether you disconnect early or wait for the automatic removal on 13 March 2026."
This integration was launched by Xero a long time ago and has long been plagued by poor feedback (with 2.2 star feedback on the HubSpot marketplace).
Due to the deprecation of HubSpot's Accounting API - this integration is now being sunset by Xero.
How do I know if I'm affected?
The quickest way to tell if you're affected is to check the sidebar of your HubSpot deals where you create your invoices - the integration that's being retired will list the section as "Integration Invoices" or "Legacy Integration Invoices"

The affected app is, at the time of writing, still listed on the HubSpot app marketplace, marked as "Xero by Xero" (more details below on HubSpot data sync)

Finally - you'll also see a charge of £6.00 per month as part of your Xero subscription if you're using the app to sync invoices.
What are my options?
Xero are emailing affected customers with a link to a shortlist of alternative apps.
The main options are:

- Data Sync by HubSpot - this is the "Xero By HubSpot" app that can sync Contacts and Products. Invoice Sync is currently in beta, and you will need to move your invoicing to HubSpot's Commerce Hub

How easy is it to migrate to Invoice Stack?
Invoice Stack is easy to set up and works in a very similar way to the existing Xero HubSpot integration. Once installed, you open up Invoice Stack from your HubSpot deal sidebar and follow the steps to create an invoice. Your invoices in Xero will look exactly the same so there's no change to your processes.
